For validation it is essential to have linked in “My account”, a transport card as well as having validated a trip at the ticket machines or entry/exit turnstiles at any Renfe station in the last 24 hours.
Valid cards: Consorcio de Tranportes de la Comunidad de Madrid card, “Renfe y Tu” card, or Renfe Viajeros APP locator (located under the QR code of your APP).
